It is with a pleasure to offer this house aptly named “Sol de Mar”, taking its name as a mix of its location, “Sol de Mallorca” and having such wonderful sea views.
The house was designed by the architect Mr. Alejandro Palomino and furnished exquisitely with a taste for luxury and perfection by award winning super yacht designer Mrs. Emma Tabone.
The fundamental idea behind this project was to create something that was not only unique, modern and wonderful but for the property to fit perfectly into today´s society without losing the feeling of being at home, achieving a fine blend of modern architecture with a texture of warmth. Both the architect and designer worked very closely to create what we can only described as a real estate master piece. The house has a lovely use of its space both internally and externally. Great for a couple who love to entertain their guests or a family with children. There has been no exception to the detail of finish and ease of use when trying to describe the house externally. The house flows perfectly from in to out allowing excellent use of both indoor and outdoor spaces. There are manicured gardens and beautifully designed garden areas surrounding the property, the main focus of the outdoor area is simply on the swimming pool. Known as Palomino design for its uniqueness designed exclusively for this property, coming from the main swimming pool, we have a modern day pond stranded in the water and dominating the garden thus creating a perfect blend of both Asian and Mediterranean styles.
When entering the house, you get an immediate feeling of space. Having created an open plan feeling downstairs there is a large living and dining area, as well as a lovely sitting area complete with wood burning fireplace amidst a stone wall, adjacent to the fully equipped Gaggenau kitchen, designed by award winning kitchen designer Brigit Müller.
The whole of the ground floor both the interior and exterior have a rough finish stone finish, beautifully finished with under floor heating. The concept was to bring the outside, inside keeping the same aesthetic throughout.
Also on this floor we have a guest bathroom and an office / 5th bedroom with stone wall and floor, toilet and shower. The architect made use of some more of his creative genius on this floor by designing a modern sculptured floating staircase, perfectly suspended between both entrance walls, then adding a nice touch by encasing each step with a hard wood finish. It was decided to continue this hard wood floor throughout the whole upper floor of the house offering a nice mix and texture to each of the 4 remaining bedrooms.
The upper floor allows for complete privacy and space between each of the four spacious and wonderfully designed bedrooms. The master bedroom is finished with a bath in the bathroom, as well as a stone wall and floored shower. There is a walk in wardrobe and all bedrooms offer superb views to the sea. With wall to ceiling windows throughout the whole of the upper and lower floors you will quickly see how the house got its name.
Also on the upper floor we have a fully equipped laundry room, great for ease of use. Accessible from the upper floor we have a beautifully designed external staircase leading to the roof offering panoramic views over the sea and surrounding area, as far as the bay of Palma. The roof of the property has been designed for entertaining, relaxing or even dining in mind. We have ample lighting and seating, lounging. There is an outdoor kitchen and BBQ as well a Sonos sound system allowing for a great added feature to an already beautiful home.
First Class Mallorca put themselves in the clients position of when they actually decide they are going to commit to purchasing a property abroad . The first thought is what can we afford then the country and area we want and most importantly who can we trust and how we go about it.
